We have found that having just a website or some business cards without implementing some marketing principles may not be effective in reaching your target audience.
Thats why we have put together in point form three lists describing some features and benefits of web, print and good old fashioned customer service. 1. Web based marketing technologies Using a range of web based technologies to bring positive growth and exposure to your business online, Is what we mean by web based technologies. - Using SEO - Search Engine Optimization
- Utilizing the methods and techiques to optimize your website for Search Engines such as Google
- Following guidelines and protocols set by Google and Yahoo etc..
- Not cutting corners with SEO such as link farms that are becoming very un-popular with the Major search engines

2. Print based marketing approaches Print in many ways has been the longest lasting effective way of reaching your target audience. We feel that web and print in this day and age go hand in hand in the business world. Thats why we have made some points on print marketing approaches. - Business cards ( pick a quality stock - first impressions last )
- Using services such as Yellowpages Print or Magazines and Newspapers can be great, providing your business can handle the influx in enquiries
- Information marketing packs such as business cards, flyers or brochures and a cover letter is a great way to present your business ( direct mailed )
- Profesional looking invoices with your logo on the stationery shows you care about detail
- Signage on your vehiecle is a very effective way of advertising
- Flyers can be effective if distributed in the correct way ( we dont reccomend under car window wipers )
- Use professional mail outs, Addressed to the potential client with a cover letter and discount voucher inside an windowed enevelope ( it makes it personal )
- Brochures are a great way of out-lining your products / features but be sure they are targeted well and dont end up junkmail
- Novelty items such as pens, coasters, desk pads can be effective but are not always finiancialy justifiable
- Even parts of your website can be transfered into a Printed book which could neatly sit in a waiting room
3. Good old fashioned customer service - Use the phone to arrange meetings when possible
- Use the phone to follow up on your customers to see if they are happy with your service and if they need anything
- Dont just rely on eMails to communicate as they can be impersonal
- Always give your customers more than what they expect ( they will tell everyone! )
- Treat each customer as a valuable person and then a valuable client
- Focusing on detail will keep your clients talking as well
- Keep business cards in your wallet ( you never know who you might meet along your journey )
- Be polite even when you are having a hard day
- Treat every enquiry as a potential business oppurtinty
